Our 2008 Pilgrims: Meet Them!

Starting in mid-May, four new pilgrims will undertake a 250-mile walking pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain from the Castillian town of Leon. Scott Farrell, Laura Jensen, Joseph Bertino, and Kevin McGarry will carry their belongings in backpacks and sleep in pilgrim hostels during their month-long odyssey. Each is trekking not only for personal reasons but to support the heroic cause of raising money for education and healthcare of our impoverished brothers and sisters in the developing world.
